About the Artist
Cindy Hsu Zell
Cindy Hsu Zell is a Los Angeles-based artist with over a decade of full-time studio practice. Raised near the San Gabriel Mountains and trained in fine art and animation at USC, her work is rooted in nature, movement, and a deep curiosity about form. Her process is material-driven, with each piece a study on gesture and perception. Inspired by the 1960s-70s Light and Space movement, her sculptures examine the dialogue between color, light, and shadow as they respond to and reflect their surroundings.
